Description
INTERMAGNET is the global program that collects, reviews, certifies and distributes geomagnetic observatory data. The INTERMAGNET observatories in Niemegk, Wingst, Tristan da Cunha, St. Helena and Santa Maria (Azores) are directly operated by GFZ. We support a further 15 observatories with instruments and data calibration services, assisting them to conform to the standard for INTERMAGNET membership. GFZ is also engaged in the INTERMAGNET governance.
