The Updated ESA Earth System Model for Gravity Mission Simulation Studies (ESA ESM)

Description
The updated ESA Earth System Model for future gravity mission simulation studies has been available since 2015. It is a synthetic model of the time-variable gravity field of the Earth and represents an update of the ESA Earth System Model as described by Gruber et al. (2011). Like its predecessor, the model is also given in spherical harmonics up to degree and order 180 for 12 years (1995-2006), sampled at a 6 hour time interval. File formats and conventions follow the ICGEM standards.
