    • Comments: Presence of possible oxidation layer covering the surfaces of some feldspars (this layer has 10 R 6/5 in the Munsell scale), (but this could also be associated with biological processes). A similar reddish-brown layer can be found also on the glass perimeters and interiors in some cases. Presence of clasts (glassy basalt, sedimentary rock, altered basalt) possibly derived from pre-existing sea floor. These have 5 GY 7/2 in Munsell scale.
