    • Comments: The alteration of the deposit is not uniformly altered, infact some parts of the core are palagonitized (10 YR 5/5 color in Munsell scale), other parts are fresh (N2 color in Munsell scale). Lapilli with a rim characterized by the presence of zeolites with a core that seems to be not zeolitized (probably accretionary lapilli). Presence of clasts probably derived from the ancient ocean's floor (they seem to be sedimentary and have 5 GY 6/1 color in Munsell scale). Zeolitization seems to not be very strong.
