Lake Baikal sediment map from Sturm, M., Vologina, E. G., Levina, O. V., Flower, R. J., Ryves, D. B. & Lees, J. A. (1998) Hemipelagic sedimentation and turbidites in the active tectonic basin of Lake Baikal. INTAS Conference Active Tectonic Continental Basins - Interaction between sedimentary and structural processes, Gent, Belgium. The data are based on the sedimetological analysis of gravity cores (EAWAG, Geochemistry, Particle Formation and Sediment Sources of Lake Baikal, GEOPASS-project). Polygon data transformed to UTM Z48, WGS 84.
